About This Event

June 26th marks the United Nations’ International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. Gateway Rehabilitation Centre responds each year with our biggest community outreach drive, taking our message of awareness, prevention, and hope directly into the heart of Tanga.

Outreach Locations (2025)

• Tanga Secondary School — 8:30 AM student assembly & awareness talk
• Msikiti Kuu (Main Mosque) — Community engagement after morning prayers
• St. Anthony Catholic Church — Post-service awareness session
• Tanga Central Market — Information stall throughout the day
• Bombo Regional Hospital — Resource distribution & healthcare worker briefing
• Chuo Kikuu cha Tanga (University) — Student outreach & Q&A
