GRC teams mobilise across Tanga — visiting schools, mosques, churches, and markets to deliver educational talks and connect people with support on the UN's International Day Against Drug Abuse.
June 26th marks the United Nations’ International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. Gateway Rehabilitation Centre responds each year with our biggest community outreach drive, taking our message of awareness, prevention, and hope directly into the heart of Tanga.
“Prevention is the most powerful tool against drug abuse. On this day, we take that tool to every corner of Tanga.”
We are looking for volunteers to join our outreach teams on June 26th. No specialist qualifications required — full briefing provided. Volunteer from as little as 2 hours or join for the full day. Contact us to sign up.
